just restart and updated my laptop and my mouse just wasn't working after rebooting. before i updated no problem with the mouse. the last time i fixed this was with a system restore but now i'm trying to find an alternative to that since it's time consuming. drivers aren't saying it's corrupted or missing or outdated. i can verify that this mouse is working because i tested it on my desktop and tried using another mouse and ends up the same. tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and didn't do anything. tried disabling and enabling it still nothing. also after a few minutes that the mouse is connected my laptop it plays the "USB device removed" ringtone and plays the "USB device detected" ringtone afterwards. maybe it's connected to my problem i don't know thought that you might know why it happens. please help thanks.
