Recently I installed Windows 8.1 on my Dell N5010(Intel i5,64 bit) successfully. After that I install Ubuntu 11.10 with 32-bit using partitioning C drive option(because no other option work for me!).
When I reboot & want to boot Windows 8,blue screen appear with error "File Missing windows\system32\winload.exe". When I try to reinstall Windows 8,after selection Install, custom & version option I get problem to install fresh copy of OS.Screen from which we select on which partition want to install,no any partition of HDD.It is totally blank with error at bottom "No Drive found". In BIOS,it shows HDD.

DELL person says,"It may Software issue".

How to solve this problem.

What can I do to recover from this problem without losing any files from my HDD because all documents, files are stored. I don't have any backup.
Thank You.

You can either try to remove the drive off from your laptop and connect it to another PC for you to get your files or you can try to use a bootable USB/CD to boot your laptop and copy the files you need from the hard drive. If you had no luck with both procedures then ask for a professional service and request for an RMA for your hard drive.
