Hi, I have got a problem with bluetooth device. I tried removing my bluetooth device but it failed to remove. It is displayed as "removing device" on the screen as shown in the picture. Now I cannot add the device again. I don't find the device when I search by clicking on "add a device" as shown in the picture. When I try to add from my mobile device it fails to add by showing a message as shown in the next picture. New Image.jpgn.jpg

Same here. Windows 8.0 Remove Bluetooth device fails. Tried with device - external speaker off and on. Removed fails both ways.

So I have a zombie Bluetooth speaker that won't work, but cannot be removed either. Nice.

thanks popeye

Things turned out well. It was the incorrect driver. Got the right one from the manufacturer's website.

Update

Update- the 'correct Bluetooth driver' failed as well for my Toshiba laptop after a reboot.

Found an application, the Toshiba Bluetooth manager - called the Toshiba Bluetooth Stack - which is like a overlayer / controller / manager which ensures that Bluetooth works properly. Found a very recently updated version - 9-9-2014, and installed that. When installing I noticed that one of the steps is "installing driver". Looks like it overrode any previous drivers I (tried to) install.

The Bluetooth Stack is actually what I have installed in my Win7 side. This works much better on Win7 (and probably Win8) then just a native Windows Bluetooth driver setup.
