Solved Windows 8.1 printer spool

I have just upgraded 8 to 8.1. My printer will not work because "the printer spool is turned off" according to the message window.
Please, can someone tell me where the spool is and how do I turn it on?

Check services.msc, right click on Print Spooler and choose Properties:
