The USB gaming mouse with LED for movement speed quit working. LED was off. USB Memory stick still worked. Device Manager showed that the Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller had a yellow warning sign as shown below. Sadly, the driver was uninstalled and not examined first. OpenHCD.PNG The touchpad and the pointer also had intermittent problems. Fortunately, the touch screen helped out.Right Clicking on Standard OpenHCD USB Host Controller and selecting Uninstall. Then, Right Clicking in Device Manager and selecting scan for changes fixed the problem. The problem occurred when unplugging the laptop from power, mouse, video, ethernet, and audio jack. Next time, the error message can be examined.
