EZ Grabber Driver doesn't Install - Compatibility Mode?

Hello,

I'm trying to install Diamond One Touch EZ Grabber Video Software on my Windows 8 computer. (I have not updated to 8.1 yet.) The EZ Grabber software loads and opens just fine, but I am not seeing the footage from my game system through USB that I am supposed to be seeing.

I determined that this must be a driver issue. I tried running the driver setup.exe in compatibility mode and it appeared to do nothing. By default, it tries to run it through Windows XP (Service pack 3), and I also tried the Windows Vista and Windows 7 settings. For each one, clicking "Test the program" brought up my administrator "User account control - do you want to allow this program to make changes to your PC?" window. I click "yes" and nothing happens after that.

The device works great on my sister's Windows 7, and okay on my brother's Windows Vista.

Any clue how I can resolve this issue? I have tried tutorials guiding me through the process, which produced the same results as above, and I have not been able to locate a downloadable driver for Windows 8 for this program.

Any help is much appreciated!
