printer not working

when I started windows for the first time it recognized it and installed the drivers. The problem is that it did not put it under printer with file association. when I go to print it isn't listed. Thanks

would be helpful.

It's an HP 1000 deskjet. Where would I find my system specs?

There's no auto-fill tool yet. But there are many system info tools:

some favorites are speccy, belarc advisor, LookInMyPC, SIW etc..

For basic info press Winkey-x to get menu, then y for system properties

The zip program wouldn't work. I did the best I could with the system info.

Ok if you go into Control Panel (Winkey-x, then p) and click Devices and Printers does it show in there? If so, does it have a green check showing it as the default printer?
