I was wondering if there exist any kind of touch controller (usb, or Bluetooth or other) that can be used
to simulate a tablet touch screen? So the question is: is it possible to make my regular laptop become a
touch controllable and be able to use the new touch futures of windows 8.1 with it?
This could be a great keyboard and mouse replacement!

I have heard of screens that can overlay your existing screen and provide touch. But, I would suspect they don't work that great and would probably cost as much as just buying a touch monitor. The prices of touch monitors have come way down.

yes to the above search ebay and you should find them. They are usb but you might not be able to close the lid. They were pretty spendy when I looked about a year ago. Tablet might be better if that is what you want.
