Howdy all,
I own a HP Envy 17t-3200 CTO notebook and just installed Windows 8.1. It started up extremely buggy and possessed a lot of issues that I have been able to fix on my. The only thing I can't figure out is the ability to adjust the screen brightness.
I know that the hotkey is working, as the brightness dial is displayed when I hit the keys. I also tried using the settings charm to access screen brightness through control panel and that didn't work either.
At first I though it was an issue with the drivers... as does everyone else having this issue. I followed up with going to HP's website and installing the latest display drivers without any success on adjusting the brightness.
Through my repeated failures to solve this issue, I turn to the community for suggestions.
