I have a desktop with Windows 7 and on my laptop I have Windows 8.1. I have a router on my desktop and set up for wireless networking. My printers are attached to my desktop. When I installed 8.1 on my laptop I am having a problem with printing from my laptop. It will recognize my printers and I can even access my dada on my desktop. But when I want to print it a pop-pup says it can't print because of a problem do the current printer setup. Sometime it tells me that the Print Spooler is stopped. I know it is running. I then right click on the printer icon and it asks me for User name and Password. I have my printers set up for sharing without a password and have never had a problem. No all of a sudden it asks for user name and password.
