some how my keyboard became corrupt or remapped. Now when I hold the shift key and the (double quot key'') I get the @ symbol and when I hold the shift key and press the number 2 key I get the ("quote symbol)

there are a few other keys (all number+shift) that are not correct, they are not so bothersome but using the email @ symbol is. I have downloaded a keyboard remapping utility but it will let me to correct the @ symbol but no help for the quote sign

can any one set me in the right direction?
Thank you

You have the UK keyboard loaded instead of the US one.

In control panel :)winkey:+x then p)

clock language and region category

language keyboard options, add an input method

select [QWERTY] United States International touch keyboard, then add

then select remove against the United Kingdom
