How to change own Bluetooth device name

I want to change OWN Bluetooth device name. I am using windows 8 which comes with my new laptop Dell Inspiron 15z. The company has set my default bluetooth name as "User". However I want it to be changed but I have no idea how.

I have tried going to Device manager, Devices and printers etc. but I couldn't find a solution.

Try going to Control Panel > Hardware & Sound > Device Manager, In Device Manager "Expand" after then right click on your Bluetooth, Go to Advance Tab there you can give a new name.
