Have anybody found a way to enable Windows 7 touch gestures?

I mean like fast flick into right would go one page back etc.

Sorry, I uninstalled Win8DP from my Tablet PC because it worked so poorly ... but did you look into the Control Panel, Tablet PC Settings, to see if those settings are still there?

Yes, everything is still here and enabled, but they do not work.

However, i have found something interesting. When i click "Practice using flicks", it says "You cannot use a mouse to perform a flick". So now my touch screen is recognized as a mouse?

Rest of the windows seems to recognize my touch screen fine. When using touch, I get different cursor (big circle around your finger when you tap) and metro stuff works without problems.

Sorry, can't help you there.

My tablet has a stylus, not touch screen, but that worked fine everywhere I used it.

I am experiencing the same issue. I have an aftermarket touchscreen from TOUCHKIT that is recognized by Windows 8 and i can calibrate it for tablet and then slide the apps screen left to right, but the flick and gestures do not work anywhere else and it gives the message "You cannot use a mouse to perform a flick". When i install the driver for the usb controller, the tablet choices disappear in control panel and then the touch screen only acts like a mouse would and I can no longer slide the apps left to right with a gesture. I refreshed Windows 8 and started from scratch with the same results.

I am tempted not to install the TOUCHKIT driver, but then I am not able to use some of the touch screen functionality.

Why cant I have the best of both worlds? A responsive touchscreen with the flicks and gestures.

I have the exact same problem. Backing up the drivers from the previous windows version, then reinstalling on Windows 8 via Driver Max doesn't work either (or at least not for me), so it's probably not a driver issue at all. I tried this on my Samsung Q1. Does a driver backup on a previous version of Windows then reinstalling on Windows 8 work for anyone else?

Download « Just Gestures - Mouse Gestures for Windows This program converts mouse movements to touch gestures. It only works in desktop mode sadly, but then again, so did the Windows 7 Gestures... By default, the left mouse and right mouse button must be held down at the same time for gestures to work, but you may change that. Run Just Gestures. Choose options > Gestures > Double Button Combination > Disabled and then Toggle Button > Left Button. My personal favorite gesture is when you draw an "N", notepad opens.

Note: the installation of Just Gestures may require the connection/installation from windows update, it takes a good number of minutes to complete but it will complete.

To disable the gestures temporarily, right-click on the task bar icon for Just Gestures and select Disable.

Also, some versions of developer preview come with a simulator of the Windows 8 Tablet. I found this video for more information.

Hope this helps.
