Solved Repair file system errors (important)
Windows Developer seems to think that my SSD has a problem and it runs a file check on every boot
I have checked my disc with several apps and they all report it is ok.
I have turned off the disc checker for now.
Is anyone else having this problem?

You can stop the automatic CHKDSK on C: with this command: chkntfs /x c:
Note: if you access the SSD from both Win7 and Win8, you will run into that problem. I think the reason is because the security settings get changed - not 100% sure though.

Although the installer will format a blank disk, I always prefer to predifine a primary active partition into which I install. It has the added advantage that you do not get the extra 100MB active partition but your bootmgr ends up on C:.
