Problems with Scrolling in Photoshop

Hello.

Normally, SHIFT+Scroll should be horizontal scroll in Photoshop CS6.

After I installed Katmouse, it seems Katmouse changed something in my computer.
I am not sure what it is.

Now, SHIFT+Scroll is Vertical PageScroll, and Normal Scroll is very slow Vertical Scroll.
Moreover, CTRL+Scroll is now very slow Horizontal Scroll, and CTRL+SHIFT+Scroll is Horizontal PageScroll.

This is the case even when I have uninstalled Katmouse.

I am using Logitech M310 Mouse with the latest Drivers and Setpoint Software.
However, do note that I never had this problem before I installed (and uninstalled) Katmouse.

It also seem that this problem only applies to Photoshop, because my other software do not, as far as I can tell, have any problems in terms of scrolling.

By the way, before I used Katmouse, I used alwaysmousewheel.
alwaysmousewheel disabled SHIFT+Scroll for Photoshop (that is, SHIFT+Scroll = just Scroll).
However, no other problem occurred. I disabled and deleted alwaysmousewheel, and everything went back to normal.
So it is likely that this problem has to do with Katmouse.

I have already contacted the developer, but they did not reply...

My guess for a solution is Registry Hack, but I'm not really sure how to do that (like, what I need to look for).
I did restore all Photoshop Settings (ALT+SHIFT+CTRL right after opening Photoshop), but still same problem.

Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks.

Maybe Katmouse left some settings behind? Check you Mouse settings in Control Panel to make sure there are no obvious issues;

Hi JustATest, thank you very much for the response.

I have already checked the mouse settings, and it seems fine to me.
It seems as if Photoshop is "excluded" from the mouse settings I have.

Remember, my mouse settings are all fine for all other application.
The only problem is with Photoshop.

I suspect what happened was that when I excluded Photoshop from KatMouse, KatMouse excluded Photoshop from everything in general.
So even now, when I have uninstalled KatMouse, Photoshop is still messed up in terms of Mouse Input.

I feel the problem is more of a lower level issue (and so probably need to do something with the Registry).
Of course, I am not an expert on Windows, so that's why I hope to seek advice here.

Anyway, thanks for the reply!

Yes, I did understand. Your initial explanation was quite thorough; however, I just thought that Photoshop (being so graphic intensive) might browse a bit slower and maybe upping the mouse settings might have offered some relief. Anyway, why not try a reinstall of Photoshop (or a repair install if it has that option)? If there is anything in Photoshop that was altered by you mouse program that might set it back to a default state. Just a thought.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I tried to reinstall Photoshop, and it seems it had the same effect as simply deleting the whole preferences file (CTRL + SHIFT + ALT right after launching Photoshop).

So the problem is still the same.

I actually don't mind the slow scrolling, but what I do mind is the SHIFT+Scroll = Page-Scroll.

Anyway, I'll try to look around some more.
Thanks.
