When the mouse is in wireless mode the sensitivity feels lower. When the mouse is on wired mode on the same dpi it feels faster. Does anyone know whats going on?

Thanks,
-Rick

Hello Rick,

Could be some RF interference in your environment causing the lower sensitivity when using wireless. The cable would have shielding, so any RF interference would be much more minimal.

Does adjusting your mouse sensitivity settings help while using wireless?

It sounds like you have some interference in your area weakening the signal then. It could be anything from overhead power lines to a neighbor's WiFi. If you have anything that gives off RF noise, then you could test by turning it off to see how the sensitivity does afterwards.

You might also check to see if the batteries are low if applicable.

I just put my ear to the mouse and it's making a buzzing noise when it's in wireless mode.

EDIT: The mouse sensitivity is right but, it's still buzzing

Odd that it's making a buzzing noise. You may have a defective wireless mouse.

If this isn't your Razer Naga Epic from your specs, then what brand and model number is it to see if others with the same are also having this issue?

Seems like many people are reporting issues with the Razer Naga Epic. See the reviews below. :(

Sounds like an angry mouse. :p Sorry, I couldn't resist. LOL

If you have any other wireless or IR devices, you might disconnect or turn them off temporarily to see if one may be a cause.

It does sound angry! Would a cable box interfere with the signal?
