Wedge Mouse right click gotcha!

I've been using Microsoft's new Bluetooth Wedge Mouse for a while now on my Sony VAIO Duo 11 tablet. For the most part it's been a nice little portable mouse, though not so full-featured as the Microsoft Touch Mouse. But I really had this one nagging issue issue: the right-click tap was hit or miss. About half the time, a right-click registered as a left-click. I was about to buy a new one to see if the problem would go away. But Google came to the rescue. I found an article by Scott Haselmann, of Microsoft developer fame, describing my issue.

I was tapping outside of the defined rectangles that are meant for left or right clicks. Any tap outside of the two regions registers as a left click.

Now I could go along with my merry business and enjoy the wedge mouse after all. The Wedge Mouse is not my favorite mouse, but it is my favorite and only mouse with Bluetooth. That keeps my two USB 3 ports free for other USB devices.

BTW: I've even heard of people using this mouse on Android tablets no less...
