Hello Don, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Do you have another keyboard and/or mouse that you could use until you get the other's drivers installed for?

What brand and model number is the mouse and keyboard, and how are they connected?

What brand and model is your PC?

Hope this helps for now, :)
Shawn

The issue is most likely that it's an incompatible Apple keyboard and not a Windows keyboard. Do you have a friend that you could borrow a Windows Keyboard from to test with? If not, then you can usually pickup a plain Windows keyboard pretty cheap.

Be sure to restart the PC when switching a mouse or keyboard for the system to recognize it.
