Hello
This AIO worked with Win 7 then with Win 8 x 64.
I know you don't know if it will work with Win 8.1 but if you went out on a limb, would you think so or not?
I have a warranty till 20015 and it is really great so would hate to lose it if 8 blue is installed.
I am not techy enough to experiment but thought 8 and 8.1 were closely related and it possibly could work.
Thank you
Peter

I have a F4400 AIO and a P1005 (both HP). They work under Win8/Win8.1 with latest drivers.

Are yours relatively new? Mine is 7-31-11.
I get my updated drivers from HP with a 22 MB download - as it seems to be the only way I am directed. Do you do the same?
I think your news is encouraging.
I wrote to them and someone wrote back and said it would not work; I take that with a grain of salt.

Since this printer is roughly 2 years old and when 8.1 is officially released as the RTM, all the major hardware companies should/will be releasing drivers for their hardware. Until then we'll just have to wait.

My printers are about 3 years old !

I download the latest full software packages (Multilanguage / Win9x, Win2k-XP, Win7, Win8). Windows 8.1 recognizes my F4400 but only installs the scanner driver.

P1005: 432MB
F4400; 192MB

I hope it does. I have the same printer. I just bought it too because My P1000 wouldn't work in Win 8. If it don't, I won't be installing 8.1.

Bassfisher - Yes, wait it will be. I am optimistic especially seeing that yiurs were.

Clint - go to the HP site, identify your machine and select the full update not the smaller one or it will not work.
