I recently tried writing an ISO to my 32GB thumb drive. (Chrome OS) Trying to play around with it. I wanted to format the thumb drive back to the way it was but I can't seem to. I've tried everything from deleting all the partitions in Disk Management(Won't let me). I've also tried deleting the volume through the elevated command prompt. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Thanks for your help. (Sorry if this is in the wrong section of the forum but it seemed like the best fit). (I also did a quick search of the forum for this problem but couldn't come up with anything.)
You might see if running the "clean" command on the USB flash drive will be able to wipe all partitions from the USB to leave it as unallocated space. Afterwards, you should be able to create a new partition on the USB.
