Best software?!

So i was wondering what is the best software i could get for my laptop to auto-detect if the drivers need to be updated?

The best suggestion is the old adage "If it ain't broke don't fix it".

All of the driver detection software I've seen requires payment for them to update drivers. However, in many cases (e.g. sound drivers) the drivers from the PC vendor are the preferred. Just periodically check the PC vendor for any updated drivers and if what the driver fixes or adds pertains to you then install it. Many times a driver update is only issued to correct a specific problem.

well i think your right as i've downloaded a software and it says 3 drivers needs to be updated while actually they already are up to date, useless crap

If you have an Intel based system, Intel has an auto detect driver utility you can use. It's only for Intel hardware. Some times a vendor will have a update utility installed to check their website for driver updates. I have a Samsung RV511, it came with Samsungs update plus software. It does a pretty decent job.
