    Driver Certificate ?

I tried to figure out how to turn off driver signing in 8. I had to because my wireless adapter's driver literally gets rejected by the OS. I dug around in the 7 forum and found this :

    bcdedit -set loadoptions DISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS
    bcdedit -set TESTSIGNING ON

The power shell didn't give me any guff so i figured it would work but apparently didn't. I checked the hardware forum but didn't find anything about it. I trying to install a lynksys ae 1000 usb adapter for wireless. Went fine in 7. Any ideas?

At boot, hit Shift + F8, choose disable driver signature enforcement (for this boot).

For permanent disable, IDK. For win7 there was

Download Driver Signature Enforcement Overrider 1.3b

but it may not work on WDP and screw up the boot.

Nevermind no option for it. shift 8 brings you to recovery tools etc but no option (at least here) for drivers

Can you check whether the "Policy" binary value under this key

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Non-Driver Signing

is set to 0 or 1?
