Not sure if my wireless card driver is updated or not

I upgraded to Windows 8 Pro and supposedly I installed all the Windows 8 drivers I got from my laptop's manufacture website (Sony) but when I go to device manager in control panel my wireless card has the yellow exclamation mark and in the properties it says that no driver update is installed even though Intel's driver update utility says that my Intel Centrino wireless card is up to date. A few minutes ago Action Center said that I needed to update the driver for my wireless card (which later disappears after checking for a driver) but updating it in windows doesn't work but like I said before the Intel Driver update Utility says everything is up to date. For now my only issue as far as drivers are concerned is me being unsure if my wireless card driver is up to date because I'm seeing 2 different things between Windows 8 and Intel's utility. Any thoughts on what I should do or if there is even a problem?

hi, try using the win7 driver for the wireless device, and install it compatibility mode
By right-hand clicking on the installable file, choose "Properties"
Then selecting tab "compatibility" check the checkbox
"Compatibility" select windows 7 "apply",then ok then install

You might try checking the link below which shows Windows 8 WLAN drivers for your system at the bottom of the page.
