Over the pass couple of weeks I have tried to make my system stable. It happens at many occasions that the cpu pass the 24 hours occt test but then started crashing about a week later. I have played with the voltages and clock speed but had no luck.I know the problem is not heat because I have a 100i and I never pass the 70s. Recently I realize that the clock speed on idle has not going down to 1.6 ghz like it use too. This is my first "k" cpu so I would really like your help thanks!

Here is a list of a couple of voltage and clock speed

core 0,core 1, core 2, core 3, voltage
46 46 45 44 1.22
46 46 45 44 1.225
46 46 46 46 1.3
39 39 38 37 1.025
auto auto auto auto auto
all failed!

Thanks in advance for your help.

First make sure that you have the latest BIOS updated. Second, Since you have been playing with different settings, I suggest that you reset the BIOS to default and start from there.

I reset the bios to the default but still go a crash. I am on the latest non beta bios(f14). The cpu speed was now going back to 1.6 ghz like before. The system froze when it has on idle for a day.

I got mine up to 4900MHz, but I had to go go pretty high with the voltages.

To give you a roughly start, I run mine atm. with:

42 42 42 42 x 100.0 1.175

If your system is unstable at stock settings then you have a problem. You should start by running memtest for 12 hours and see what the results are.

Sorry it took me so long to respond but I was testing different aspects of my machine. I had already done the mem test. I have follow this video Intel 1155 Overclocking Guide - YouTube and I am now running stable at 4.2 ghz...very happy. So far did not have a crash and it has been weeks. I do not think that I will try to bring it up more. Thanks for your help everybody!
