Windows 7 No Problem
But Windows 8:
Every time I listen to music or any sounds
There are problems noise or interrupted audio
Especially when DC/CONNECT
The DPC latency checker does not work correctly in Windows 8. There is a note on their web site that they are working on a Win 8 compatible version.
Pops/crackling/noise in audio is a common complaint in Windows 7 and becoming one in Win 8 as I'm seeing more and more posts about it. Unfortunately, there is no "one fix" for the problem. It can be cause by sound drivers, video drivers, wi-fi, etc. Sound is always on a shared Interrupt (IRQ) with a higher priority device and that can also cause problems.
You can also try uninstalling the RealTek in the Device Manager then restart and when Windows starts it will detect and reinstall it. Sometimes, Windows will put it on a different shared IRQ and fix or minimize problems.
