Hey guys, i am in need of help. No matter what i do i cannot get the drivers for the card to work. Any help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to Eightforums! Do you have the Wireless Manager that came with the adapter installed? Does the adapter show in the device manager?

I don't quite get what you mean by Wireless Manager, but it does show in device manager, albeit as "networkcontroller".

According to the manufacturer, the adapter ships with a disk with management software. In device manager, under network adapters, you should see the Ethernet and wifi adapters. Was this board an add-on or included with the build? In Network and Sharing, on the left side under Change Adapter settings, do you see the card?

Sorry for the late reply, was out of town. The card is one i added myself, as the old one died on me. It did come with a disk with drivers and the like, but when i install it, it says to insert the card. I have obviously done that. It does not show under network and sharing, although windows does recognize it (sorta), as when i try to install drivers for it via device manager it shows the name of the card when it fails.

The best chance is using the v8.0.0.162 drivers in compatiblity mode. It may help to use 802.11n Only mode with WPA2 security and AES encryption.

I can't find any Windows 8 specific drivers for this legacy device.
