Webcam Driver - Asus N53SN

Hello,

Upgraded my Asus N53SN from Windows 7 to Windows 8. Webcam driver isn't available at Asus Support Section.

Any advise?

Did you try win 7 driver? i have upgraded two Asus units, all work

I downloaded the driver for Windows 7 but first of all, no setup file included. Secondly, no Camera input shows up in the Device Manager.

you have to make sure you are downloading the correct driver. Look here:
ASUS - - ASUS N53SN

when u go on Dev Mgr, right click your IMAGING SERIVES, go on properties then details , Identify your webcam first.

There is no Imaging Devices.

so you dont see your webcam listed at all in Dev Mgr? do scan for hardware, it should pop up.

Did.. nothing happens..

try this soft and see what it suggests u need

Did. Nothing about Camera!

well that is not even normal that win 8 doesnt detect your hardware. If I was you, I will pop a win8 dvd or usb, boot off of it, and do a repair without losing any of your files and such and see what happens. If you have zero installed on your pc , you can do a repair from Ctrl panel, there is a feature for that ;REFRESH

Have you tried looking in Control Panel > Devices and Printers?
