chipset comparison

I have this Asus M4N78 Pro mobo and was given this Gigabyte GA-MA790X-DS4 mobo. I would like to know which one has the better chipset and which one is the better over all mobo. I know both mobo's are a bit dated. Any advice and help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried googling for direct comparisons between the two mobo's but every thing comes up in Chinese...

I just looked up the specs and I would choose the Asus board. It is an AM3 socket which is newer than the AM2+ of the gigabyte and uses DDR3 which is the current and cheaper memory. The only downside of the Asus is the NVIDIA chipset which is possibly not SSD friendly. If you plan to use a conventional hard drive then there's no problem. Iwould look on Ebay for a processor,an Athlon II or phenom II would be fine. I Googled the numbers and got the specs in English and it has a list of compatible processors for the board.
