Unknown device

I've had my windows 8 pro installed for about a month or so now. Whenever I access device manager, it tells me there is one device that's an "unknown device". I've updated drivers, done driver scans online to figure out what driver this is. Everything works perfectly!

Is there some program/ online utility that can accurately tell me what driver this can possibly be?

thanks in advance!

sadly that did not work. It only listed the drivers I have that I already know are installed. It doesn't tell me what it is :(

Thanks for trying.

Any other ideas? anyone?

Thank you Phone Man! That page helped me get the product ID from "Device Manager" > "Unknown Device" > "Properties"> and google searched the "Hardware ID". I switched from IDE mode in BIO's to ACHI. I forgot to install the "Intel Smart Connect Technology". Installed that, and the Unknown Device is now known.

Thanks for the help to everyone who tried! It's greatly appreciated! Good to know there's people willing to help around here :D
