Problems installing Brother HL-2132 Printer

I've tried installing the HL-2132 - on attaching the printer Windows 8 starts the installation process but at the end there is only an icon in Printers but no drivers. Hightlighting the printer icon in the Control Panel it displays driver not found at the bottom. I can't find any evidence of any install - checking Program Files, Spool etc. Tried removing the icon, rebooting and reinstalling but same result. Printer installed ok from CD on a Windows 7 system. Does anyone have any ideas what's happening with the Windows 8 install?

The printer is supposed to be supported by drivers included with Win8.

You could try the Win7 drivers.
