I would expect that, like Seven, Eight will need no special hardware. It will just have minimum specs, and it's likely would run on a PC that can run Seven. A Guy

I highly doubt Microsoft would make the specs higher for Windows 8 (128MB graphics was previously required from Windows Vista and the current OS Windows 7) So thats no difference.
