Trouble with WiFi/Bluetooth card

I am building a car PC out of an AMD E350 motherboard (link below...), which has mini PCIe & SO-DIMM slots as opposed to standard expansions & RAM. It is a simple, low power system, ideal for the application. I believe Win8 is the perfect platform for the application as well, since it works nicely with a touchscreen-oriented interface.

I bought a WiFi/bluetooth combo card off of eBay (link also below), but thus far, the WiFi isn't working. The BT works fine, but the wireless does not.

I verified that the driver is installed & working in Device Manager, but Windows does not give me the option to connect to a wireless network. In my Network Connections dialog, it only shows the wired LAN and the BT.

I am willing to accept the fact that the wireless driver is not compatible with Win8, but also wonder if it is a problem with the card?

Motherboard - Giada Mini PC_Mini-ITX MI-E350
WiFi/BT card - HP Wireless WiFi N Bluetooth BT Mini Half PCI E Card SPS 602993 001 RTL8188CEB8 | eBay

Thanks in advance!

Actually, I just double checked, and the driver is NOT installed for the Wi-Fi card. I was looking at the driver for the regular LAN controller. I was tricked because it is a MoBo integrated LAN controller, but the driver labels it as a Realtek PCIe.

I did download the driver exe from Realtek and I also tried the one from HP. Neither seems to load the WiFi functionality of this card.

Also, if it helps, the card is a Realtek branded for certain HP laptops.
