Onscreen keyboard closing when in tablet mode?

I have a lenovo yoga, and I love how you can change it into tablet mode. The problem is that when I change it into tablet mode, and try to use the onscreen keyboard, the keyboard opens, then immediately closes. I saw this thread that had the same problem, but there was no solution. It only doesn't work when in tablet mode; when the physical keyboard is disabled. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I have exactly the same problem. The onscreen keyboard normally works fine, but when I change to tablet mode the virtual keyboard pops up and then immediately closes. I did not have the same problem with my surface.

Is that all the time? I have that issue with my Surface but it is only on a specific forum website that it happens with, ironically it's a Surface forum.

yeah it is all the time for me. It means I can't ever use the onscreen keyboard, even for entering a login password. It is quite annoying and might mean I have to take it back.
