How do I find out which PCI Device is the problem?

When I open Device Manager, I see a problem with one of the PCI Devices:

I've tried automatically updating the drivers, but Windows 8 says it can't install the PCI Device.
    Windows 8 64bit on a Dell m301z Laptop.

So I don't know which device is causing a problem or how to resolve it. Any help greatly appreciated!

Hello D, and welcome to Eight Forums.

You could use the tutorial below to hopefully find the hardware ID of the PCI Device to hopefully be able to look up what it is and find a driver for it.

    Hope this helps,

    You're welcome.

If you still have the Windows 7 driver installation file for it, then they should still work.
