Solved Auto Launch?

Not sure if I'm posting in the right category....when I first got my win8 computer everytime I put in a usb flash or started a dvd/cd I would get the auto launch box asking what I wanted program I wanted to use to open the files, etc. I would also get a little box up in the top right asking me to tap here to determine how to open. I'm not getting that anymore and it's driving me nuts, I have to take the extra steps to go into explorer and open stuff that way. Is there a setting somewhere that I can make that start happening again? :cry:

Open up a File Explorer window (a folder, My Computer, etc.), and paste the following into the Address Bar:
Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\AutoPlay

Make sure "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices" is checked at the top.
