Solved LPR Printer not showing in Printers

I have my HP Deskjet 3050 plugged in my router and all our computers using it through LPR. It prints from both of my our Win 7 machine as well as my Win 8 machine. However on the Win 8 machine it doesn't show up in the devices and printers. It does show in device manager as a printer, however if I go to devices and printers it isn't there like it is on the Win 7 machines. This wouldn't be a huge deal except for that I cannot access the printer driver to adjust settings, specifically so that I can turn it to black ink only to save money.

It seems that one of the recent Windows updates corrected this. I know see it as normal in my printer list.
