Disabling Zoom

I have a notebook with a touchscreen. I really want to disable the zoom option, as every time I go to use the mouse I zoom in. This is a real annoyance when I'm using pretty much anything - for example, I'm trying to write a book and 80% of my time I'm zooming in or out rather than getting actual writing done. Same with browsing the net. Also, I seem to be swiping things away while i'm looking at them, so I'm just presented with my desktop again. Not sure what I could be doing wrong here, but if someone can tell me how to disable zoom, that would be great. Can seem to find it under the mouse options.
