Head phone don't work

Just notised that my head phones do not work anymore when I plug them in with windows 8
Something else that is giving me problems

Do you mean it doesn't *automatically* use the headphones? You have to go into the sound properties and select the correct playback device.

You may be used to it automatically working, but the default driver Microsoft installs does not sense when you insert headphones (this was the case in 7 as well). You have to install the manufacturers HD Audio driver to get this functionality to work automatically.
