Hi there
I see the RT PRO (available early in 2013) has like the Surface RT an HDMI out.
Metro Apps tend to look a bit silly on these large screens -- Three or even four could fit comfortably on this type of screen and the live applications would look great.
Hopefully Ms will come up with some way of enabling re-sizing of Metro apps for large screens. I can see myself (even though I'm not normally a tablet fan) possibly using the PRO model when it appears -- and would certainly feed the output into a large LCD screen (most hotels I use have these now and you can just plug the HDMI cable into one of the TV's HDMI slots).
I currently use my laptop this way -- a 50 inch screen works great !! -- but if this tablet allows Windows apps to run on it then I could be persuaded to get one.
From what I've seen the surface RT looks fine --but I really want "Classical" windows apps too other than office which runs on the Surface RT.
Having a USB port also makes all the difference --as well as the micro sd card storage as it mean I can plug in an external device and watch movies directly or copy the movies to the sd card and do the same thing.
cheers
