Solved well, this is a gadget and this IS an 8.1 questuon

now I've seen this before but I can't find it now. last time, it memory serves correct, I went to the charms , into the settings, and was able to find and set a specific place, USB drive, to automatically save all of every video made from webcam to a usb drive.

and i'm still having trouble with the back up and recovery. but I found out why. the first use of these usb drives on the pc was labeled recovery disk D. but the pc has changed it to K. and when I tried to change to D, I was left with d: K: both. well dell back up and recovery would not recognize the usb. how can I change the usp back to just D, and stop the pc from changing it again. thank you for your time

something like that. but just making sure I can give the usb drive letter I want it to have, and not let the pc pic it. as for the other information, I never thought of that before. but i'm going to save it in case it want to use it. thanks.
