How do I delete my email address from welcome screen?

Hi. I don't want my email address to be visible on Windows welcome screen. I'm using Windows 8.1. Does anyone know how I can personalise the screen so that only my user name shows? I've looked all over the internet but cannot find an answer.

You have a MS account, so it has to be displayed. You could remove the MS account (forcing your account to be a 'local' one), but that removes the features that come with it, specifically relating to apps and the store.
