Solved Help removing shadows under text on desktop

Hey guys, sorry if I'm having a brain fart and have the wrong selection made. I was wondering if anyone could tell me why shadows under the text hasn't disappeared when I uncheck the option? Here's a screenshot, it's not a dock - it's a wallpaper that I made for a "dock" to be under my icons. Thanks guy!

My first guess would be that you hadn't pressed 'Apply' (and OK) yet as it appears to be an active dialog, no longer greyed out.

I had previously applied and closed the window. I opened it again to show that it was indeed unchecked. I am going to try and restart computer (not home now) and hopefully that'll fix anything that may be stuck in the process.

Can confirm, a simply restart applied the change needed! Thanks guys!
