Hi.

I search on the web for one program that SUPPORT WINDOWS 8.1 customizations like the nlite was do for win7 and i didn't find any gui program that support windows 8.1.

Is there any that kind of program?

I want to COMBINE into one and only BOOTABLE ISO FILE these win 8.1 releases.

06. SW_DVD5_Win_Pro_8.1_64BIT_Eng_Intl_MLF_X18-96633

And what is the difference between sw_dvd5 releases vs en_windows releases?

You probably could, but you would need to put the 64 bit images into the 32 bit media. No idea how you would get the 64 bit upgrade/repair install in that.

There are lots of things you can not do with 8xx, that we can do with win7. Sorry, but there is less freedom with 8xx.

Don't know of any simple gui type things for 8xx yet. You may as well do it by hand, I don't think the result will be very satisfactory.

No i don't want that i simply want to create one and only bootable iso file that has ALL the above releases of win 8.1.

And i can choose who i want to install when the disk is boot.

The solution is to extract all the files from one of the 32 bit iso files onto your hd. You then export all the images from the other 32 and 64 bit wims into that. The boot.wim, setup.exe and setup files will all be 32 bit. It won't work the other way round. If you want a choice which to install you will need to put an ei.cfg into the "sources" folder.

ei.cfg

Code:
[Channel]
Retail

But if you do that, then it will only work for custom install, not for upgrade/repair install. If you want to do an upgrade install you will only be able to do that for 32 bit, and you will have to change the ei.cfg to list the edition, e.g.

ei.cfg

Code:
[EditionID]
Professional

[Channel]
Retail

You can do it with imagex, or GImageX - AutoItScript if you want a gui method.

How this program can make all in one bootable iso?

Already have uncompress all the iso files for the win 8.1 releases i was tallied you before.

So now what?

I think you had better wait for Dino to make his customisation program. He reckons he will have something at beta stage in a couple of months.

Dino made nlite and vlite. He disappeared for a while doing real life things. He is now interested in making something to help people who have ended up with 8/8.1.

It will be very good when he has finished it.

There are also a growing number of 7 users - which will continue to grow as long as people can find win7. He will probably make a nice customisation tool for us too.
