Using taskbar as a file explorer. Is this possible?

Hey folks, I'm trying to utilize my taskbar as somewhat of a file explorer. I've added 2 screenshots for a visual aid. What I am wondering is if it is possible to make a dynamic toolbar so to speak. As you can see from the first picture I have two toolbars on the top left of the taskbar. In the second picture you'll notice another toolbar labeled "Music". Is it anyway possible to make this "Music toolbar" change to a list of documents when I click the documents icon on the toolbar? Does that make sense?

Thanks

I know someone on another board who had nearly half his desktop as quick launch. I got what he was doing. But I'm not sure what your purpose is.

You can put a folder with subfolders into a toolbar. When you click on that folder, it will show all the subfolders in Explorer. To get to the files you have to work from there.

WHS is correct. You can add any folder as a "Toolbar." I would be more prone to use it if it didn't insist on mouse over flip out menu action. It drives me nuts when the mouse goes off track and the whole thing closes.
