Any way to make this go away?
I think I've gotten everything to where I want it (looks & feels exactly like W7) but is there any way I can get this message (the "Microsoft Confidential") to go away (other than using a white desktop background)?

I dont know if it works for WDP
Just don't be surprised if the system throws a WGA wobbly when you do that - from what I can make out (if WGA is active at this point in the build) it's almost certain to do so.

Windows 8 Consumer Preview
There was a removal tool for the watermarks on the various Win 7 beta/preview builds... there will probably be one floating around soon for the Win 8 watermark. Definitely nice to have it off the screen so you aren't distracted from your previewings and evaluatings.
