"This app can't run on your PC" Error

Hey peeps got myself a little problem here, first one i couldn't solve myself funny enough..

I use Restorator to edit Explorer.exe's icon. Now ive killed explorer, renamed original, put modified one in place,
and gone to run it, but it gives me this error. It has correct privileges and everything, but it keeps giving the error. Any way to bypass this or allow me to run my modified explorer?

Smartscreen is probably checking things out since modifying system exe's like explorer is not recommended anyway.

There is a chance you have broke it. Restorator dates back to 2007 if I see it correctly. Since then the PE structure may have been updated and it's possible that newer exe's can be broken by modifying them. Anyway the initial file's checksum is now changed and if a digital signature was available in the file, it's gone now.

Restore the original file back. Use sfc /scannow for example.
