Remove Windows version number from desktop?

I have a little Windows version number indicator on my desktop and I want to remove it. I know there are various methods to do this and I have tried a couple, but they have not worked. I'm on Windows 8 Pro 64-bit, it appeared after I was fiddling with other system settings and installing programs.

Hmmm, I had tried that program before. I removed all watermarks, restart and changed my wallpaper, the text still remains. I think my problem is a little different from the popular problem that everyone else has. Here's a screenshot of what I have:
