I'm trying to make a few assorted colors of introduction cards and stationery with a logo.
To save ink I did an oval cutout. It works fine on a white background.
Not so well on a colored background because of the white square.
If I change the background color from white it will use more ink.

You would need to save the oval cutout as a .png, this will give you a transparent bkgrd.

As the above poster said. If your photo editor allows it, instead of using a coloured background in your PNG, use a transparent background (shown by chequered pattern in the below photo).

Thank you for my education and your time.
It was saved as a png but I never tried to print it because my ink is low and my funds are low for awhile. There's 10 per sheet.
I thought it would show the white square the computer shows. Like you said, it's transparent.

Thank you again.
