Right now WinAeroGlass is in alpha stage, and has no UI—you just double-click on its icon and it'll make all your windows' title bars transparent. It also doesn't blur any of the transparency like Windows 7 used to do, but the developer is working on this right now, so hopefully we'll see this feature available in a new version soon. To turn off the glass, just log out and log back in—simple as that.

Hi there
if you want Aero Glass why not stick with W7 / Vista.
Can't really see what good it ever did anyway == it's obviously not a highly missed feature.

I've even removed the "Start menu" mod from W8 --it really wasn't a huge amount of use for me in the first place and I've got used to W8 now.

Something useful would be dynamically updating Gadgets as per W7 / Vista instead of those stupid metro tiles which you could have on your desktop / secondary monitor if you wanted

Cheers

Don't know where you get that idea from.

It is a great feature - sorely missing from w8. Removed only because MS discovered surface pro has such dismal battery life.
