More Rows on the Start Screen

Has anyone found a modification utility that will allow more than the defined maximum rows on the Start Screen? My 1920x1200 monitor could easily handle 9 rows but is only allowed to have 7 rows. Smaller tiles and more rows and columns would be even nicer.

The only threads I can find have to do with changing colors, adding pictures, etc. Nothing to do with more than the officially allowed rows or tile sizes.

AFAIK there is no workaround to increase row count above predefined setting. Unfortunately.

As of now, no there isn't a way to get past 7 rows.

I'd wait out until the Windows Blue update sometime next year. It's reported it will have a smaller tile size, probably like the size in All apps.

At that resolution, you're pretty much maxed out for rows by default, but can only get it up to 7.
